(DALLAS) – The Advisory Board of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Women of Tocqueville Fund announced that the LiftFund Women’s Business Center, dedicated to supporting diverse women entrepreneurs, will receive its first investment from the Women of Tocqueville Fund for Women and Children. Comerica Bank will match United Way’s $ 50,000 disbursement, bringing the total investment to $ 100,000. These funds will be used to provide microcredits to women entrepreneurs in the southern sector of the city, so that they can successfully develop their small businesses.

Established in 2017, the Women of Tocqueville Fund for Women and Children was established to provide targeted financial and skills-based investments in education, income and health – the building blocks of opportunity – for women and children in North Texas. To date, the fund has raised $ 13 million for these efforts.
